Mississauga FC is proud to share the exciting news that Enoch Acheampong, a commanding and versatile defender, has signed with Graceland University to join the Yellowjackets men’s soccer program in Lamoni, Iowa.
Enoch has consistently stood out for his strength, composure, and leadership at the back. Whether playing as a center back or stepping into the midfield, his high soccer IQ and natural leadership made him a pillar of our defense at Mississauga FC. He brings not only physical presence but a calm and confident mindset that anchors his teams under pressure.
Originally from Prempeh College in Kumasi, Ghana, Enoch’s soccer journey spans continents. He earned Man of the Match honours at both the FTF Showcase and BRYST Holiday Cup (2024), and played a pivotal role in winning the Ghana Juvenile League Championship in 2022. His excellence was further recognized with a selection to Team Ontario for 2027 — a testament to his talent and potential.
Enoch is a true student of the game and life. From competing in track and field, to participating in Boy Scouts, to exploring interests in technology, music, and reading — he is as disciplined off the pitch as he is on it. Guided by the scripture from Philippians 4:13 —
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” —
Enoch plays with purpose, faith, and determination.
Graceland Head Coach Bryan Courtney shared his thoughts:
“Enoch is a talented player who can contribute as a defender or in the midfield… His physical ability, leadership, and understanding of the game give him the tools to contribute early in our system.”
As Enoch prepares to make his mark at the collegiate level, we know he will bring the same tenacity, intelligence, and heart that made him an exceptional part of the Mississauga FC family.
Congratulations, Enoch! We’re proud to have been part of your journey and can’t wait to see what you accomplish next. 🔵⚽️💛
