Nesta Kofi

Mississauga FC is proud to celebrate the next chapter in the journey of one of our own — Nesta Kofi, a dynamic and intelligent midfielder who has officially signed with Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.

Nesta’s time at Mississauga FC was marked by a calm composure on the ball, precise control, and a deep understanding of the game. His ability to read the field and dictate tempo made him a central figure in our midfield, and his leadership both on and off the pitch set the tone for his teammates.

A graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School in Brampton, Nesta also shined during his club and school career, earning MVP honors with Woodbridge Class of 2022 and consistently demonstrating discipline, vision, and grit. Off the field, he draws strength from his faith, his family, and football role models like Frenkie de Jong and Joshua Kimmich.

Quoting Job 5:8, Nesta reminds us of the values that drive him:
“But if I were you, I would appeal to God; I would lay my cause before him.”

Graceland University Head Coach Bryan Courtney praised Nesta’s technical ability and humility:

“Nesta is another versatile midfielder joining us from Canada. He has excellent ball possession skills and knows how to manage tempo… He brings a humble attitude despite his technical ability, and we’re excited for the impact he will have on our strong team culture.”

Nesta will be a key part of the Yellowjackets’ midfield heading into the 2025 season, and we’re confident he will make a lasting impact at the collegiate level — just as he did here with us.

Congratulations, Nesta! Your Mississauga FC family is incredibly proud and can’t wait to watch you continue to grow, compete, and inspire. 💪⚽️
